Vintage Christmas Monday

Sooooo.......
Didn't get exactly what ya wanted, gift-wise?
Mom's Christmas ham inedible?
Company overstayed their welcome?
Uncle Sid singing off-key?
Pesky little brother won't leave your new electronics device alone?

Holiday irritations plus firearms = good times for all!
Nothing says responsible parenting like a set of firearms for all the tykes on your shopping list!

Happy Vintage Christmas Monday.

she has links to all the other, more normal participants.  ;-)

Dear Anne:
This ad made me laugh out loud, and then I read it to my husband. We're hunters, and I DID receive a shotgun for Christmas one year...and was thrilled. (As an aside to the people who may now be gasping: I come from a state where hunting is a huge tradition...and there is something comforting about knowing that, if the absolute worst happened, I would still be able to provide food for my family.)
Anyway, Anne: I've loved all your un-PC ads this month) - but especially this one - and will miss them. Might just have to take out the ol' Ruger Red Label and shine it up for the holidays. (Just kidding!) Now you know something new about me. ;-)
Merry Christmas!
Donna

That is so funny! Liberals would be howling if an add like that was published, now. Those are the days before political correctness ran wild.
