I discovered a new blog the other day which, quite frankly, left me sitting in front of my monitor transfixed.
I thought that beauty such as this only existed in fairy tales, or in my dreams.
Not true.
It exists in Sandy's world, in the Catskills.
It exists right HERE, at My Shabby Streamside Studio.
From Sandy's profile, she is "sharing my halting weekend attempts at soothing shabby French décor & antique rose gardening at a 125 square foot studio in the Catskills with a great husband, four dogs, and 19 hens."
Ahhhh, the studio.
Are you ready?
Are you sure?
Prepare to be stunned and bowled over...
And the view from outside?
A fairytale in white.
Remember, Sandy does all this with only 125 square feet of space!!!
If you enjoyed this ethereal tour inside Sandy's incredible studio, be sure to visit her blog,
Become a follower, and tell her that I sent you.
Until next time, I'll leave you with Sandy's customary sign-off....
Stay shabby!

What an absolutely heavenly place to live in! Stunning, really stunning.
I am in love with her blog...I just stare at those gorgeous dreamy pictures!!!
How dare you! Now we all want to go there...how lovely! If the studio disappears and you hear a helicopter in the distance, that's me airlifting it away.
Isn't her blog dreamy!! I think this is what all shabby girls envision heaven to be!!
wow! I'm not an all white gal, but I sure as heck appreciate it a lot! What she did in a small space is drop dead gorgeous! What a beautiful haven :)
Dear Anne,
This is the sweetest little cottage. She has done an amazing job. It looks like heaven.
Thank you for sharing and I am off to pay her a visit.
Your friend,
Maria
Holy cow, so beautiful... it takes my breath! Love all of that white and the inside and outside is gorgeous! Sandy is quite talented to make so much of such a small space.
Have a blessed day my friend and thanks for sharing this new friend of yours!
gorg! I want a play house like that... for me!
Good gravy... I'd always be standing outside and looking in... and just drooling - which means my tongue would probably freeze/stick to the window.
THAT is GORGEOUS!!!

Wow Anne
I think you just might be my new GPS system
I'm sure I need a fix everytime I stop by your blog and yet another wonder appears that you are sharing. I can feel the warmth running through my veins as I type. I'm sure I am offending someone at this point but I know you get me. Really that is breathtaking to say the least. Thanks for always navigating us to the finest blogs out there.
Have wonderful day my sweet friend.
Love ya

Hey Anne. OMG - that is so soft an amazing. That has to be the most relaxing place in the world. As beautiful as the inside is I adore the dream cottage fantasy look from the outside. It really does look unreal. Sandy's decorating style is truly elegant and understated and yet loaded with charm. I can't believe she did so much with such a small place. Thanks for sharing. No I'm going to yearn for that cottage forever.
xxxooo's....Tracy :)
Wow! I'm jealous beyond words. I'm off to visit her site and be transfixed. Thank you for sharing this!
I love your new header image, too!
Anne, she does have a beautiful blog. I discovered her several months back and have been a huge fan since. Girl, your story of your dream was funny, but sounds more like a nightmare if you are in the middle of such a huge warehouse and then can't buy (steal, borrow) it all. Too funny!!
Wow!
This is ethereal if ever I could imagine!
thank you so...much for sharing this beautiful cottage Miss Anne!
Have a wonderful afternoon

I dropped by her place a little while before we went to the big show. I fell in love with her studio...reminded me of the little "Sunday houses".

Hi Anne, That was a beautiful blog. And a cool garden house. A nice place to get away from it all. Thanks for sharing...Julian
That certainly is a highly accessorized 125 square feet of space. Thanks for stopping by to take our house tour. -- Jane F.
Hello daaaauling~
I shout…Knockout Gorgeous. Thank you for giving us directions to her beautiful dwelling. I told her after visiting I feel like I should be doing something pretty instead of working in the yard.
Anne, thank you for your treasured comments. I was so excited to receive your first comment and your second. I knew exactly who you were. I am a colossal follower. I feel more like a stalker, actually. I am beginning to understand that “stalker” is actually a suitable term used in blog land…sort of an expression of endearment! We just linger over all the beautiful blogs. I know how staring for more than a few seconds is considered creepy in the outside world. But here…we can linger and stare for hours. What fun!
In pearls and flip-flops we can save the world!
KrisTTie
OMGsh...I'm off to check her out now!
Wow~
It's like a dream you never want to wake from.
Gorgeous!
btw..love your new layout and dreamy background.

Sandra Foster has been featured in the NY Times and on Yahoo as well. Now we have been contacted by some other rather famous decorators and are doing a shoot this thursday!!
