White Wednesday at Fiona and Twig...

Again, thanks to Kathleen at Faded Charm
for hosting the loveliest day of the week, White Wednesday.

I've been burning the midnight oil all week long
in preparation for my new shop,
so I'm going to keep the jibber-jabber to a minimum
and let the images speak for themselves.

I was inspired by these lovely christening gowns I saw
in the antique mall where I'll be setting up shop next month,
and immediately filed them away for our next White Wednesday....which is today!
Enjoy, and blessings to all.

Happy White Wednesday!

  3. Good Morning. What heavenly dresses, the only thing more perfect would be the new little spirit that has come to fill it's body.

  11. Hi Anne - thanks for popping by my blog earlier. Love all the lovely Christening gowns - just marvelous!

I'd love to come see you in Warrenton, where exactly will you be? Will you be setting up or just shopping? I'll be just down the road in The Texas Rose Antique show across from Marburger. Stan Williams will be there with me on Saturday and Tuesday signing his book, The Find. Hope you can come by. Please forgive me if I've told this all to you before - I'm kind of a broken record like that!

  16. What beautiful christening dresses! I especially love the really, really long one. How lovely the mother must have looked cradling her baby w/ the fabric cascading down.

  18. I love vintage and antique baby dresses as well. I ended up having 2 boys, so I've sold all of my collection. I kept a couple of family dresses and my very favorites. Thanks for sharing.
