White Wednesday...On My Christmas List

My new-found antique dealer friend Bill
is in possession of something so elegantly over-the-top,
that of course it made the very tippy-top of my Christmas List this year.....

Have you ever???
I sure haven't.
It's just a wee bit pricey,
but well worth it, in my opinion.

Only if we all pitch in and do our part
can this divine treasure be mine.
Fiona and Twig accepts donations
via all major credit cards and Pay Pal.

I'm just sayin'.

Visit Kathleen at Faded Charm

And be sure to head over to visit Jana at

She's giving away FIVE handmade
Victorian cones like the ones above!
This gal is as generous as she is talented,
so you definitely don't want to miss out!

  9. You know .... I just saw one of those this past weekend at the flea market here. Annnndd, it wasn't expensive at all. Now, you might have to wave your magic wand to get it white, but that's not hard. So, let me know and I will go back out this weekend.

  16. Oh I love it! Wouldn't it be great to pick one treasure that you are aching for and get a group of bloggers together and pitch in a few bucks? Everyone wins... as I was typing this though, I think it might be like a pyramid scheme/ chain letter type... oh well! Hope you get it!

  18. Oh, I *KNOW* that I need it, but right now it's priced at $600! Hence the telethon-esque plea for funds! He says it's negotiable, so we shall see!

  21. Howdy Cowgirl? Do you go to Crider's in the summer? When you get a chance, go look at the picture I posted today. Ask some of your old timer friends if they know anything about that company. I did a google search and nothing comes up. I'm just curious. God bless!

  22. Only you could find a "white" cash register...love it! Not something you see just everyday! I think you might be able to "justify" it to Santa if you say it's for your "store", that you're fixin to start up. Nothing like incentive.
    love ya,
    Debra

  23. Uncanny my friend. What were the odds. I guess it was meant to be. :) Are you on Facebook? I wonder if we know the same people. I bet I know where you go to church. :) *wink* I would love to know more about it, just for Kerrville's history's sake. Thanks a bunch.

Is the arcadia still there? Take a picture someday. We used to go there all the time. On Monday nights they had $1.00 night. Did they plow down Schreiner's yet?

  24. Kerrville's history sake? Kerrville history's sake? Huh? Nevermind. I hope you knew what I meant. LOL

  26. Well it's worth every penny! I'll put it on Santa's wish list or maybe you can sweet talk your honey into borrowing his check book :) My friends are having a Barn Sale this weekend, not far from you I don't think, it's on my side bar and after you see the pics you'll want to go!

  28. that cash register is super. there is a small one at the antique shop i work at in the summer mo. it is sweet also, but not as elaborate, but lots cheaper. you should have it. so, if it is negotiable, bat those eyes and keep coming back. let him know that you really have an interest in it as i am sure you have done. if you are to have it~you will get it. good luck, anne.
