Please Pray...

The owners of my antique mall,
really lovely people who I consider to be friends,
have had a family tragedy hit this week,
and I would be grateful if you could keep them in your prayers.

Life can be shockingly, alarmingly short...
Please don't take it for granted.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon them.
May their soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

  45. Anne, I am praying for your friends now. So sorry to hear that they have suffered a tragedy in their lives. We don't understand God's plan for our lives when things like this happen, but just have to trust in Him and keep the faith. Praying that God will give these folks the peace and comfort that they need to get through whatever has happened in their lives. And I also pray for you too, since they are your friends. I know you hate to see them hurting. I hope you have a nice weekend, despite this sad time. Love & blessings from NC!

  59. The loss of a loved one is a devastating event for anyone
but when the loss is unexpected the pain seems unbearable.

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our troubles,
so that we can comfort those in any trouble
with the comfort we ourselves have received from God."
    2 Corinthians 1:3-4
