Happy White Wednesday!
And who better to feature on a day devoted to ethereal whites,
than the masters of wonderful, wintry whites,
than the masters of wonderful, wintry whites,
Linda and Ludmil of Willow Nest.
I was so thrilled to meet these two
at the Accumulations show a couple of weeks back,

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, lovely old fashioned things. Right up my street.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful and inspiring, too! They used to live semi-near by and I never got to one of the shows...timing was always wrong and now it's WAY too far. Maybe someday....?

Beautiful things just love the white with touches of gold, blue and browns. So wonderful to see something made from vintage items. Having collected embroidered items for many years, I was always so sad to see beautiful creations which most probably took many hours to make, being virtually given away. At the time this was to my advantage but as the interest in vintage has revived, this does not happen very often now.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are so inspiring! I am head over heels for those little apothecary bottles, and that little Book (I'm gonna guess its a little Wedding Album?, the dress makes me think of a little Shabby French Wedding!) is so charming, it would be a lovely keepsake!
ReplyDeleteDrooling here in Georgia:) Love all of these pretties! Have a blessed day and thanks for sharing these beautiful displays! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious space full of amazing treasures, and so beautifully photographed!

Oh my gosh, it's all so beautiful! I can't imagine how long it takes them to set up their display. I'm exhausted just setting up my tables for my jewelry shows. Maybe I just need to work out.

Gorgeous work, Miss Anne, truly gorgeous. There's a stillness about your images that touches me deeply. And Willow Nest is such a tranquil subject. A question perhaps you can answer: what is the music that plays on their slide show? I've wondered that for a very long time.
ReplyDeleteI love visiting blogs like yours. It always makes me want to be more creative and make my home more beautiful! Marcia
ReplyDeleteI am loving the cones made out of book pages and the Christmas tree is just gorgeous. You did a wonderful job {as always} with your photos!

Wonderful whites by a wonderful photographer!! Thank you Anne!
ReplyDeletegorgeous. just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSeriously gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are wonderful as is the beautiful displays! One thing that jumped out at me is the little pillow with the sheet music of "o Them Golden Slippers". When I was a little girl I had a 45 rpm record of that song and I remember playing it on my little record player over and over and over again. I used to drive my mom crazy playing it all the time. Haven't thought of that in a long time! This was probably about 50 years ago. Anyway....great photos Anne!~Hugs, Patti
ReplyDeleteThere is lots of beauty to see and you photographed it very well!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn
Hi Anne,
ReplyDeleteIt has been awhile since I have been by for a visit, you blog always makes me smile. I just love your photos they are so clear and beautiful.
I will stop back again, when I have more time.
Crystal
Goodness at all of the gorgeousness!
ReplyDeleteAnne, your eye for how to photograph these lovely items amazes me. These may be some of my favorite photos you have taken. I love how you capture the perfect groupings. I am sure all the different lighting can be so challenging. I'm so impressed and feel like I'm reading a magazine. I have a weakness for vintage paper and lace. I'd scratch someone's eyes out for one of those journals! lol Hope you are having a great week. Can't wait for more pics.
ReplyDeleteLinda and Ludmill used to be 'ours' here in the Pacific Northwest, and a few fabulous junkers, (like the boys of Barnhouse), attribute their start to them! You are very lucky to see them! I miss them, but your incredible photos helped with that.
ReplyDeleteToooooo much prettiness! Wait, that can never be true! {and on a weird note...your blog header is just so cool...it makes me think of so many things...there's a story in there somewhere...}
ReplyDeletem ^..^
Hi Anne,
ReplyDeleteI love Willow Nest! They used to live 20 minutes from me & had amazing spaces at a couple antique stores around here. Then they moved to Texas....sigh....;)
