What are your last-weekend-before-Christmas plans?
Enjoy them, whatever they may be!
Oh Anne, I know it isn't even Christmas yet, but I am already thinking about Spring... and my gardens... I am actually going to my favorite garden center tomorrow... just to relax before the big week, and daydream a bit about my gardens next year... wishing you a relaxing weekend... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteYou have fun lovey. We are having a laid back weekend. I am making patato soup for Saturday and maybe going to an estate sale very early in the morning. ♥O
ReplyDeleteI am going to wallow in grandmotherhood and I think take a ride with my hubby to Lamberteville,NJ where the homes will be beautifully decorated for Christmas and also New Hope another great town at Christmastime! I feel like I really can start to relax a little now after a very busy few months.
ReplyDeletehugs,
gail
Cookie exchange with the neighbor ladies and assorted buds, then hop on over to where the husbands are gathered and pester them. Saturday night going to see neighbor Brophy Dale playing with his blues band at a local “establishment”. The ukettes playing at the “Puka Bar”...stay dry with all this rain!
ReplyDeleteHey sweetie....sounds like you have WONDERFUL plans girl ~ me? Just to begin cleaning up and getting ready for my family to gather here Christmas eve. Wrap the rest of the gifts and hang more things on the walls to give our farmhouse that "we are home" look!!!

I read your previous post, and I am sooo glad you are getting off the auto setting...you will love all the creativity and versatility you will have once you understand the SS and F-stop. Good luck, it looks like a great book.
hugs to you...
After having a weekend last week where I had something to do EVERY minute, this weekend I am just going to do whatever strikes my fancy. To start off with, I am going to a dear friend's house on Saturday morning to get a lesson on making Moravian ginger cookies. It is a recipe that has been in her family for many generations. I'm also going to continue enjoying time with my daughter, who is home from college. They are calling for snow flurries tomorrow night. We have already had snow/ice twice this December. And they are calling for snow on Christmas eve. Won't that be pretty? Have a wonderful weekend. Love & blessings from NC!
ReplyDeleteoh comeon...that's so boring. wouldn't you have so much more fun up here with me, movin' granny?
ReplyDeletewah,wha....
my camera came today and all I want to do is play with it!!!
xoxo,
D
We have a theatre producation of A Christmas Carol to see this afternoon and a panto tomorrow. Oh yes we do!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend. xx
Hi Anne, congrats on being featured in Romantic Homes. Just the cover of the magazine is beautiful so I know what is inside is going to be even more fabulous. Why oh why can't we get magazines over here anymore, I just don't know! Crazy backwards country half the time.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are already beautiful so I can just imagine what you will do now that the lightbulb has been turned on in megawatts. The calendar with your photos is so lovely. Congrats on that too.
We are on Winter Break now. I already have plans for Sunday through Tuesday, but for today, relaxing, cleaning, blogging and hopefully some crafting. Enjoy a wonderful weekend. Blessings, Tammy
Enjoying time with friends and family. Wonderful old chair!!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a fine weekend!
Helle
I will be wrapping gifts on Saturday (just getting started) and Sunday will be church day. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
Hi Anne, sounds like you have a wonderful weekend planned... as for me we have to start our Christmas's early to get them all in, one on this Saturday and then at our house for my side of the family on Sunday, and then we have more to go to next weekend! And I still have so much to do, so guess I better get busy! Have a wonderful weekend
ReplyDeletehugs~~~ Daphne
Happy weekend darling....i must work today......and lots to do before christmas.......happy time enjpy love love love Ria.....xxxxx.....xxx......xx....x...
ReplyDeleteSounds delightful Anne! You deserve a little break it seems to me :)
ReplyDeleteI'll be spending the weekend doing only fun, festive things....a christmas brunch, cookie baking extravaganza with my daughter's in laws (and one of my best friends), date with hubs, watching my boys sing in church, last minute shopping, and wrapping gifts under the tree while Johnny Mathis croons in the background :)
Enjoy your gorgeous sounding weekend! We are getting together for our Christmas gathering with my side of the family - including a trip to see our 11 year old daughter perform in the pantomime in our local town! xx
ReplyDeleteCleaning up the house for some guests arriving.
ReplyDeleteWe've had truck loads of snow again, so we're in for the weekend - wrapping presents, making the last of the gifts, delivering any local cards, and watching films on tv ('Bridget Jones' Diary' is on and that's always good for a giggle).
ReplyDeleteYou enjoy your rest,
xxx
Sounds delightful! Yes, time to clean up Christmas clutter. Everyone gathers here so all that junk still left on dining room table probably needs to disappear. Then, there is the studio area...not pretty. Where can I hide that? Did I mention our tree has dried out? Hmmm...time to get creative there! Wish me luck. A few parties, some baking, I'm getting tired typing this. Take a nap for me!
ReplyDeleteWork, getting my car fixed (no heating!) and a whole lot of chillin' - literally! Too much snow and ice = unhappy Anji. Hoping your weekend goes as planned. Would love to see lots of amazing pics from your new camera lens in your next post.
ReplyDeleteHave a great one!
Good Saturday Morning dear Anne! I am sitting in my favorite chair, sipping hot coffee and reading what my friends are up to! I am staying in today, wrapping presents and doing a little cleaning! No parties to attend today but Church Christmas Play and Candlelight service tomorrow! BIG hugs and thanks for being my blog friend! Theresa
ReplyDeleteI'll be doing lots of the same things as you -- just replace the ice-skating with g'kids musical at church. You've even inspired me to spend some time with my camera. Have a wonderful weekend. Jan
ReplyDeleteHi Anne, A quick note before I go out the door to get my hair cut for Christmas, finish my Christmas shopping, and finish the day with baby sitting our two oldest grandsons while mommy and daddy are going to a Christmas Party. Have a wonderful weekend. Enjoy your ice skating, that makes me think of my daughter who ice skated when she was younger, taught ice skating, and done some judging. Have a very Merry Christmas Your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteI'm off to spend the day with both my boys, can't wait, it's going to be fun (oh my girl too)!! Happy Saturday, T
