I just love her style. I remember seeing her on HGTV many years ago. She was ahead of her time with her decorating style then. I can't wait to see a copy of Romantic Living.

Your sweet Lady Rose is not known here in Germany, but I think she really should be for her lovely vintage style! I'm sure she's published in books too, right? Can you recommend one?

ReplyDeleteThe picture of the bed just made my day! Where did Rose get the linens? I love those! Would look great on my bed. Also loved the bowl full of well-loved books and the wood doggie! I picked up a copy of Romantic Living a few days ago and have already been through it several times. Love it!!

ReplyDeleteI'm coming by tonight to tell you how much I enjoyed the article and the beautiful photos. I was especially touched by Rose saying that she doesn't follow fads and is happy with the way things are in her home and also her saying that's just the way old people are. It's wonderful as a true artist and designer she's comfortable in what she loves and it really gave me a heads up personally just do have what I love and be comfortable with it... something I am finding with age as well.
Thank you for a beautiful piece, dear Anne, you know I think you're amazing. You are blessed to have Rose as a dear friend. I told you before, but I loved the HGTV special of her home and the many with Carol Hicks Bolton as well (well, the whole family).
