We all love vintage photos...or as we like to call them,
Instant Ancestors.
I can't keep track of how many old, sepia-toned photos I have of other peoples mothers, fathers, grandmothers, great uncle Bob's....I'll bet y'all have a lot too, right? They're irresistible.
So, in the spirit of sharing, here is a brand new "instant ancestor" for you to add to your stash....
it's my very own Mom!
Wasn't she just the most adorable little thing ever?
So, if you're so inclined to decoupage her, or put her in a fairy jar or sprinkle her with glitter, go ahead.
I don't mind, and I give you permission.
It's my mom, and I'm sharing her with you.
Goodnight, sweet friends!
Not only is the picture of your mom so sweet and adorable, but it is so sweet that you put her up for everyone. I just love the picture. Also as I am writing this I see your listing for your etsy shop and love what you wrote"shop"green" buy vintage". So true so true!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo very cute and such a sweet photo!
ReplyDeleteHi Anne!
ReplyDeleteThat photo is adorable! And the sweet bow on her head! Oh, I just wish my girls were little so I could tie a ribbon that way. (Bummer, don't think they would go for it now.) Thanks for sharing your mom with us, it is one of my favorite pictures. Too cute, and more precious because she is your mom!

ReplyDeleteShe is! Now we know where you get it! Funny note...after my Mother died, we found a box of photos of actual ancestors. Problem is, my Dad couldn't remember who most of them are, so..it's kind of like the terrific ones you find while on the hunt.
