Romance 101

You know how you just have those moments...

Those magic moments when you're

absolutely

positively

unmistakably

sure that you married the right person?

I had just such a moment last night
after returning from the Paper Cowgirl retreat.
Completely out of character for him, my husband announced
that he and a buddy had stopped at an estate sale that afternoon
before I arrived home, and that he had picked something up for me.

He wasn't sure if I'd like it, or if it was my "style",
but asked me to take a look anyway.

This is what he revealed....

-O-

-M-

-G- !!!

My non-junkin' hubby picked up the most absolutely perfect,
chippy kitchen scale for the rock-bottom price of $5!
*swoon*

My hubby.
Mine.
Me.

You can't have him.

{grin}

  26. Thats cool you are very blessed. My hubs comes home with nuts and bolts if he will even get close to a yard, estate sale or auction. The last time he came home with jars and jars of nuts and bolts and a long metal tool carrier full of clamps. He unknowingly brought me a gift because I used the tool carrier for a planter this year.

  74. Okay, I usually read all of your comments,
but there are way to many and I have way too
many chores to catch up on!!!
But, at the risk of repeating someone else's,
I think that it is so wonderful that he
knows you this well. There can be no greater
gift on earth than to feel that one is KNOWN
by another....especially if that person is your
best friend and hubby. Lucky girl!

  75. I have the best idea ... let's sign up for that tv reality show "Wife Swap" ... you {sweet Texas Gal} comes to New Jersey to live with my husband {who doesn't "get it"} two miserable teenagers, one 4 yr old, and two dogs in a broken down house ... me, I get Mr.Perfect {that'd be your husband} NO kids, a house on the ranch in TEXAS and well .... I guess I still got two dogs to take care of ... sounds fair, right ??

    I didn't think you'd go for it ; )

    Miss ya ... I've been busy ; (
