my house just sold and I'll be moving into a new to me, even older house the middle of next month.
The first house we tried to buy had "problems", making that well spent money on the inspection.

Anne-I just ADORE this house! It really is just so perfect. The rooms are such charming spaces and even the paint existing paint color are so pleasing and inviting. Let this new adventure begin for you!
ReplyDeleteMy retail space is doing pretty well. We just finished the 2nd month and I was able to cover my rent and get a little bit of $$$. I've learned so much in the past few months and it's amazing when you think somehting will DEFINITELY sell right away and it doesn't and then of course the opposite happens all the time. I have quite a few furniture items in there and it seems a little crowded. I'm hoping some of those find new homes real soon so I can do some rearranging and bring in a few new pieces. I have a few old school desk that have been three almost 2 months now. I think I'll rotate those out until the fall.
The important thing is that I'm having lot of fun and the Consignment Store owner is a delight to work with and see a couple times a week. She is working very hard to make the business a success and I want to do well for her. I love to see "young" women (in her late 20's) take on such a big challenge and color outside the lines of the corporate world. I applaud her and women like her.
Happy 4th to you. I know you have your work cut out for you getting your house ready to sell. I look so forward to seeing your house transform over the next several months.
