the same Texas sunset! After a cloudy start, it turned out to be a beautiful (a little windy) day. The trees and the grass were so green in the sunshine. It made me want to go out and do some things in the yard. Love your chair by the way.
Anne, I love taking my camera and seeing through the lens! It can take some ordinary and make it beautiful depending on how you 'see' it! Love this post!
Looks like you're having fun with your new camera, Anne! Beautiful images. I've been talking to Handsome about a new camera. He's a retired photographer, and just told me I can use either of his cameras whenever I'd like (D200 or D300). Can you hear me "whoopin' up and down"? I was pretty excited. I'm going to play with it in the next few days and see what I can come up with. xoxo Happy Sunday. Donna
Hey Anne. Seeing everyday items through your eyes and camera lens makes the most ordinary objects beautiful. Not that these items are beautiful to me anyway but I love seeing how you combine them and make them a treasured beauty.
What beautiful photos you have taken today... you must be loving your new camera. I just see your wonderful wedding photo on your side bar, that I have not noticed before ~ you are a beautiful couple.
I hope that you are having a happy weekend, Hugs Carolyn
Sooooo beautiful, Anne! Love when you share what inspires you...And I would LOVE to see a Texas sunset! I love our California beauties, but I imagine the wide-open Texas sky would offer some stunners!
The Nightingale singing, and my husbond just planting a beautifull Paradise apple tree I got from him in mothers day present. Your inspiration turned out so wonderfull, dear Anne. Happy sunday, Hugs, Dorthe
Anne, Ouch! Don't sit on it! ;-) But you could if the flower were painted on the chair seat! What do you think? Or decoupaged! Beautiful photos and and interesting combination - the smooth and elegant along with the worn and rustic! Happy Sunday! Diane
What kind of imprint do you think that would leave on the keester if you sat on it? I was just wondering...
:-D
Girl - I'm inspired by my laboratory!!! I DID NOT REALISE that actually FOLDING fabrics and such made a difference? I think piles are very much under-rated. yep
Hi Anne! You are getting some great use with that new camera! Lookin' good! Regarding Live Writer that Jodie recommended..it seems a little more user friendly than posting directly in blogger. It archives your posts easily if you need to correct them, you can specify a time you want the post to be published, more available fonts and has a lot of the font controls like Microsoft Word. I haven't used it much, just a few posts, but it was easy to use. (I need all the help I can get!)
Some chairs seem to have more personality than others, and even though this one is great by itself, you made it shine with the delicate rose art! My inspiration today was dirt (aka potting soil) so I potted up some flowers and herbs. I've never seen a Texas sunset, but they've gotta be big! Blessing, Laurie
I always enjoy reading your blog and I love the pictures that you post. Your picture combination is so pretty. Thank you for sharing your talent. Your Missouri Friend.
This comment has very little to do with your beautiful post......just wanted to let you know how very much I have enjoyed my time in the beautiful hill country. Texas is one of the friendliest in the lower 48.
Hi Anne! I love that bentwood chair, just gorgeous. Great photos, I love the light in the last photo especially. Your blog is great, I look forward to following! Janice
Very nice, very very nice...I will be taking my camera out for the day soon in search of some inspirational places to hopefully capture some great pics.
My little TEXAS ROSE, why oh why do YOU need any photo classes? Your pictures continue to amaze and inspire me! I hope that you had a weekend as beautiful as this picture! xx P&H
Great pics! You make something so simple look beautiful Anne. You really need to take that magic camera and your magic talent and get some shots of our gorgeous Texas sunsets for those folks that "don't live in these parts". (said in low gruff cowboy voice) I would love to see them though your eyes. K
Hi Anne! I have a thing for small chairs so you know I'm loving this! Oh how I love your state of Texas too. Two of my best friends live in the Woodlands (such a pretty area). My sister and I have made the last two Round Top shows and are now wishing we lived closer :) Maybe we can meet up soon. xoxox Susie
Hi Anne! Thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hi! :) That was so sweet of you!
It's so hilarious that all of us 'blogging sisters' out here must -- at all times to be sure! - have our cameras firmly in hand, our 'radar' going for another great photo op, and the best thing? -- We always see beauty in everything we look at as well as story to go along with it.
I guess that's what makes this blogging adventure so much fun! I am SO loving floating in and out of all my 'sisters' sites and nabbing/sharing thoughts and ideas.
Have a great day - and I'm looking forward to seeing more from you!
