Smitten right here in Fredericksburg, Texas.

as this lovely old house/shop is filled with

not only great finds, but super talented people, too.

Our big grand opening is TODAY,

Nesting...and the Laboratoire

I find a lot of interesting curiosities

in my treasure hunts, but I simply could not

pass this delicate beauty by...

It's an actual birds nest with unhatched eggs.

So lovely, and so perfectly at home on my kitchen scale.

It also represents quite adeptly what has been going on

here at the homestead.

Finally getting things arranged and pulled together

and ready for photos. I realize how patient

all of you have been with me as I get this old home

styled, and primped and foofed.

It won't be much longer, promise.

The "soft" opening of

Smitten

here in Fredericksburg, Texas

took place this past Thursday, and the shop was

a huge hit with shoppers who came from

near and far to see this beautiful new creation

of Debbie Fritz, Jennifer Jung and Paula Sanders.

You've already seen the photos of mine and Shannon's

space, so here's just a little taste of what else can be found in this

little gem of a shop.
