Booth News, House News

I haven't posted pics or given y'all an update on my booth space
in a coon's age, so I thought it was about time.

Since the big move to a primo downstairs space three months ago,
my sales have really taken off.
Better yet, a lot of the big pieces which had collected dust for MONTHS upstairs
are racing out the door these days.
Location, location, location!

Me and the Mister headed down to the booth today
with a few big pieces and here's the finished product...

I'm not loving it yet.
I still have sooooo much stuff I need to take down there, s
o much primping and foofing to do....it could seriously look so much better
if I only had the time. I have the stuff, just not the time!

And I have some news on the HOUSE I posted on yesterday!
It needs a name, so I'm calling it Transom Manor (hehehe!),
so named because of the AWESOME transom windows throughout the house.

Anyway....

~We put in an offer today!~
And when our realtor submitted it to the sellers agent,
she apparently smiled and said
"This is a really good offer!"

So, YAY!
This is looking like it's going to be our new home.
We shall see!

As I showed y'all yesterday, it's pretty much picture perfect
with the exception of needing a LOT of exterior painting. So I decided to play.

I went in and did some sloppy photoshopping
and gave the old girl a fresh coat of paint.
What do ya think?

Before:

 and After

Just a glimpse of what can will be.

In conclusion, I'd just like to thank every single person who drops by here,
reads my rambling thoughts and then takes the time to leave a comment.
I read each and every one of them,
and always do my absolute best to pay each of you a visit, too.
Sometimes it takes me a few days,
but I always do my best. It's not a chore, it's a privilege!

Love to all of you, and have a wonderful Friday!

Transom Manor looks gooooood all dressed up in her new techo paint job! Can't wait to hear the good news that your offer was accepted! The booth looks adorable; I'll take 1 of those in the corner - what am I saying! Seriously, I'm in deep trouble this fall when your Etsy shop reopens. Maybe I'll let Maya shop for something purty. Have a great weekend, Anne girl.
Blessings,
Laurie

Your booth is fabulous!! Interesting news on the first house.........sounds like you are being very wise. It is a small town and you sure don't want to step into anyone's drama before you even move here (or after you get here, either!!) Love the second one - I recognized the first one, but will have to keep my eyes open when I am running around town for this one. Cute front porch with the door in the corner!! Wishing you all the best and can't wait to read the news when it is final!

That's your idea of sloppy photoshop? It looks great with the paint.

I like your booth and the wire dress form...the head on it is a bit scary though. I guess I've never recovered from being sat down between my two older sister's walking dolls that had eyes like that...The dolls were bigger then I was!

If you had the time? What ever are you talking about! Your booth looks very nicely done already!! If I was in that shop, I would seriously race over to your spot. Now you have inspired me to find an old peeling ice cream parlor round type seat chair (not sure what they are called) like the one by your booth desk. Oh that house is so perfect.. so much to love about it.. so excited for you!!!! Have a fun wkend! x

I think it's a lovely omen that the door is in the corner of a house that may be the "Transom Manor" home of a girl....that has a window in the corner of her blog header.
It's a lovely house for a lovely couple.

Your booth looks awesome! Great displays, and what's the coin operated machine? I bought an old Kotex machine from one of the dealers at my store, and I love it, hangs in my bathroom. And I'm hoping all works out with this house. It truly has great potential.

Take care, Sue

Hi, Your booth is awesome and location has a lot to do with whether you sell or not. I keep thinking about trying the mall again and then I think about the time that I don't have to do it justice. Your house has a lot of country charm and so much potential. I like the front porch. The doors are something you don't see to much of anymore, but all of the transoms will definitely let the air circulate. I will keep my fingers crossed that you get this house. Your Missouri Friend.

Anne, I think this cottage is just fabulous! In my mind, it's even better than the other one-- more quaint, and those transoms are the icing on the cake. I love how your booth looks. Your excitement is so contagious.
Yesterday I was jumping around and singing "Anne's buying a house in Fredricksburg, Anne's buying a house in Fredricksburg!!!" The Man turned around and looked at me and said..."Who is Anne?"
I was floored.

Like WHO don't know who Anne is?
THE Fiona & Twig.
I looked at him with that "crazy" look.

I didn't know you got a primo space! Must have missed that, sorry, or I would have sent congratulations sooner. That's my dream, when I retire in 14 years (& counting LOL) to have my own booth space around where I live. I'm already doing research and learning all I can so when retirement arrives, I'm ready. I plan on traveling to all the cool flea markets, estate sales, and antique weekends I can (as soon as I can figure out how to drive more than an hour without getting sleepy!). Congrats again!
