Recent Finds and Acquisitions

It's been a good while since I've posted a collection of my recent treasure hunting finds, so since I'm pretty sure you're sick of my recent forays into Photoshopping, here's some pretties to feast your eyes upon!

Would ya believe me if I told you that I got this at Tuesday Morning?

I know, isn't that just lovely?
I normally only go to Tuesday Morning for craft supplies, but while venturing down the home decor aisle, this beauty stopped me in my tracks. If you haven't given Tuesday Morn a look lately, you might wanna look again.

Elsewhere, in my Etsy Shop, here's some of what's currently for sale, what's recently sold, and what's coming soon...

SOLD!

SOLD!

SOLD!

SOLD!
(to a notorious, hog-wild fellow blogger, no less!)

And coming soon to my Etsy...

SOLD!

Vintage Silver Name Cups

Madonna and Child Vintage Print
( STYLE TIP: absolutely perfect for the Jeanne d'Arc look! )
SOLD!
(Thank you, Kathleen!)

And from the "mine-all-mine" files, a couple of recent Etsy purchases...

Vintage Paris Business Card Holder, purchased from my friend Troy and the good folks at Junk Exchange.

And then there's this. Y'all are gonna be kicking yourselves that you missed this.

Vintage Clipboard with Calendar, stolen from Michelle at Vintage Junky.

Here's a tip for ya....if you go to someone's blog, love their style, love their junk, nose around a bit...chances are, they either have an Etsy shop or an online store where you can purchase a little piece of their style for your very own. Which is how I scored the last two killer objects!

The only other Etsy news I have to report is that I'm still mulling over selling my photographic art prints in the near future. I've had lots of positive feedback, and for that I thank you all. It'll happen, I'm just not sure when.

And for all those who have sent me get well wishes, thank you! I'm still dragging, but expected to live. ;-)

Until next time....

oink, oink...

Our Tuesday Morning closed, also, so I will just have to enjoy your find, Anne...so much cheaper! I love the frame of this piece, and the softness of the floral print.

Hi Anne,

I adore all your treasures ~ the tray is beautiful and I just adore the vintage pram ~ I have a replica one like it, for a doll, but it is not near as nice as your pretty one.

I hope that you are having a lovely week

Oh my gosh, what beautiful things! My Grandma had a cool calendar like that one. I love Kathleen's(Faded Charm)taste, I'm betting that is THE lucky Kathleen who bought your Mother and Child picture? She and I are practically neighbors! She is the sweetest (and has very cool things at shows)!! I love Tuesday Morning too! Sadly, the nearest one just moved about a half hour further away. (Bummer)... Oh yes, and I thought I was the only one who knew they have great craft stuff at -way- marked down prices!
Thank you for the wonderfully sweet and thoughtful comments, Anne. YOU are so sweet!

Hugs,
Sheila

Thanks for stopping by! I've never heard of Tuesday Morning. I've been too far away for a long, long time. :) That tray is absolutely fantastic and would make a great table! Love the vintage baby stroller and the tole tray. the Protected figurine is also very sweet. And you are right, the photos I posted yesterday are in San Antonio. Renee lived here in Kuwait for several years but moved to San Antonio about 4 years ago. We went to visit her two summers ago. Loved it! Hope you feel much better and have a fabulous day. :) Tammy

Fun stuff Anne! But, I LOVE the silver cups and the calender. That little pearly design is so perfectly vintage!!! I wish we could go out shopping together!!

I read your comment about having to contort your body around your cat. So true! But, just wait until you're my age and doing all the contorting every night! I've got more pinched nerves in my back than you would believe, all from contorting around a dog and a cat! But, they're the best, and I wouldn't trade em for anything!!

hugs,

Pols

G'morn Anne ~ Is that a Bradley & Hubbard old vintage metal frame? If it is, it is worth a lot of money. It should be stamped with B&H &/or numbers. I love it.

TY for your sweet notes, I am doing much better daily now.

Have a beautiful day ~
Hugs, Marydon

Anne Lorys said...

Hi Marydon,
Nope, there are no marks on the frame. Too bad, right? ;-)

Oh, and a lot of you have referred to the Tuesday Morning tray...it actually has hanging aperture in the back, so it's meant to be a wall hanging. I think it'd look smashing as a tray, too!

Polly, you said to "wait until I'm your age"....grrrrrl, I'm way older than you already! Wanna lay money down on it? ;-)

Okay, off to the store to get more medicine, ugh!

XO,
Anne

Oh Anne! I LOVE that Tuesday morning "tray". I wish we had one close by. It's so unique! I always love wandering through your shop....some day I may show up there in Texas to see it in person!

I am in search of the "pefect" little vanity type mirror for a little re-do I'm inspired to do. I thought I would have you keep your eye out for something that might work for me. I just did an entry with my inspiration photo and a few photos of my existing space. When you get a chance, take a look. Maybe you could find a mirror for me?

best to you,

Cori
