What 10 cents gets ya these days...

One BIG ( 24" by 36"), heavy, altogether impressive vintage mirror!

Yep, there's your proof right there!

Found at a local thrift store today.
Heck, I even managed to impress myself with this find, and I'm a tough crowd to please!

I came home with an SUV loaded full of treasures, some headed to the booth, some headed to Etsy, some headed to Warrenton, and some destined for my next mixed-media art creation. I'll take some pics of it all once I get a little free time (hmmmm, what's that?).

Sooooooo.....what did YOU find on the junkin' trail this fine Saturday???

I am majorly impressed! Lovely mirror!

I overslept and missed the yard sales. So, I checked something off my list that has been there for quite a while.

My friend, Lisa, needed a tree cut down in her front yard. I grabbed my chainsaw and headed over. Her busy neighborhood came to a standstill when the engine revved. All neighbor's within earshot came out to watch and a real estate agent hosting an open house across the street was glad to see the tail lights of my trucks as I drove away with all the wood!

They acted like they had never seen a girl with a chainsaw before!

I would have rather been shopping with you!

Wow! OMG!!! That's amazing. They should have paid you 10 cents to haul it away. Why on earth would it be sold for so little. I would have easily paid $10. That has to be the best thrifted bargain I think I've witnessed . . . ever!

Can't believe that mirror was only 10 cents!! That qualifies as the buy of the day! No shopping for me today. I spent the day sewing and putting the finishing touches on my guest room redo. It will hopefully be done soon!

That's funny! I like it.
My friend gave me her grandmothers old kitchen scale today. It's already on my blog.
I'm off to Renningers Extravaganza in Mt. Dora Florida tomorrow.

What a GREAT find! I've often wondered if thrift shop owners read blogs. If so, prices will slowly begin to soar. I love it when I luck up on a good item - better yet, a good priced item. Lucky you. Love the blog. I look forward to checking it every day.

Wow ten cents....getouttahere! It's a nice one too, can't wait to see what you do with it.
I did go to my very first auction today and got some great stuff for just $10. I think I am now hooked. It wasn't hard to bid at all, although the auctioneer got a little carried away at times.

I'll be back soon.
