As promised in the first installment last week,
I made a return visit yesterday to document the ongoing,
magical evolution happening at
Carol Hicks Bolton Antiquites
Laboratoire De Design.
Which, by the way, is open for business!

I was in and out rather quickly ( for me ),
and thought to myself smugly
" Hmmmph, I shouldn't have that many photos to edit THIS time ".
Ha! The joke was one me, as I got home and
discovered that I had shot 91 photos, and wanted
to share all 91 at once. Not having time to properly edit
that many pics, here are a little less than a third of them,
with the rest to follow in a couple of days.

There's just something about a well-loved,
almost forlorn vintage chair. A timeless Velveteen Rabbit-ish
sort of appeal that I find irresistible.
And then there are the bed linens....

nothing quite like them!

The man asked me just yesterday why I was taking pages out of a musty, nasty old book. Why not just "let it go." Now I can share this post and try to convince him I am not just cheap and crazy.
I was considering giving up two well worn old chairs (look like the leather ones shown) and now I am convinced they can stay longer.
He will say you are a bad influence on me. ;)

I really LOVE that first photo, Anne! There's just something about it, it makes me think of Anthropologie or something. The linens from Bella Notte are so beautiful too. When I had my shop I really wanted to carry those, but felt like they were a little too spendy for my area.

the thing that made my heart pitter patter the most in these photos was the paint spattered artist easel, I so want that!
I could spend all morning just staring at each and every photo of yours. I don't want to miss a thing. The building is a perfect place for these over the top displays!
