Local Loveliness

Hello Friends!

How is your week going?
Mine is going great, and it's going quickly.
Hurry up, weekend!

And speaking of weekends, I spent this last one doing all sorts of fun stuff,
including attending the 24th Annual
in the beautiful Hill Country hamlet of Comfort, Texas.

As usual, I was the annoying chick getting in everyone's way
snapping pics, so let's have a look,
shall we?

Fabulous Fall touches were evident everywhere.

And what made this photo shoot extra special?

Finally getting to meet this beautiful lady in person!
Ann Williams of Hill Country House.

We've been blog and e-mail buddies for awhile now, and since she resides in
my new hometown of Fredericksburg, Texas, I think we're going to be
getting into lots of trouble together!
Here are a few images of her space...

I just love Ann's wares, she paints with beautiful,
broad brush strokes of color in her vignettes.

And then I rounded the corner and saw this...

A vendor selling nothing but grain sacks and vintage clocks!

Hyperventilating....must.catch.breath.
Oh my goodness, need you ask if I bought anything???

So there you have it!
An absolutely perfect Texas Hill Country day.

Enjoy your Thursday,
and be sure to head on over to visit Debra at Common Ground
for

Oh Anne, I've always wanted to go to this show. So many great things. BTW, you are the offical photographer of The Accumulations Show, thanks for offering to do this. So, I guess I'll see at the end of the month, woo hoo, so excited you'll be there.

I think I am going to need to get this show on my calendar. When is it held? (besides last weekend, of course!)

I am going to the Austin City-wide on Saturday. I've never been and am hoping that it will have lots of goodies there.

I enjoyed your picture tour!

Beautiful photos. I am in love with that little blue doll bed with the decals. I love 1950's decals. Now the glasses freak me out a little though. I always think of dead people when I see them.

can you hook us up w/ that clock vendor? The whole thing was amazing.

VS said...

OK, so I'll start with the well know fact that your photographs are AWESOME girl...but then I must immediately follow up with my newly found knowledge that, TEXAS JUST ROCKS!!!
Maybe I'm lucky I don't live there...I'd probably be homeless from spending my mortgage money on more cooool junk that's around every corner. I could just live out of my car & collect smalls, right! That could work, but I love all the big stuff too!! What's a junky Cali girl to do?
Hugs,
Susie
