Lens Love

Oh yes I am, lovin' my new camera lens, that is!

My altogether spiffy, maddeningly complex,
worth every penny ( lots and lots of pennies! )
Nikon AF-S 50mm  f/1.4G lens.
Say that fast three times!

Just took a little tour around the farmhouse a couple of days ago,
and snapped a few quick ones...

Crisp, clear, bright and beautiful!

Wanna know what else I'm loving?

See my lovely collection of enamelware pitchers?
Love 'em, can't get enough of 'em.

Which is why I was beyond THRILLED to win the pitcher on the far right
in the amazing giveaway over at Buckets of Burlap.

Thank you SO much Becky, I'm crazy about it!!!

I'll be back next week with more pics of the cottage,
and an upcoming giveaway, too!

Here's hoping you enjoy your weekend, my friends!

P.S.
Thank you all SO much for the kind words on my Romantic Homes feature!!!

I did it justice.

It does a great job! Fabulous images! Time to upgrade to a decent camera again. Had an SLR that was fantastic for years but went back to a point and shoot digital and have never been happy. Just need the $$$$'s now. Its on my list!
Must have a look at 'yours'.

Wow! The pics are stunning! I found this professional photographer dude's site online that has lots of great info about Nikon DSLRs...That's what he uses. He works in the film industry with lighting and photography, so I've gleened alot of info just for my own wee canon :)

Always fun to visit over here....always loveliness.

It would be so wasted on me, but one of these days I will get into it. Maybe after a class or two. It is something I used to do in high school, even had my own dark room down the basement. Of course my dad set it up and I used his. Anyway congratulations on the pitcher and it all looks wonderful

Ahhh your new lens is already busy at work, those shots are incredible Anne! I love the old enamelware too, but much prefer the pitchers to those nasty old "pee" pots. Oops, did I just type that?!! Yep I'm old enough to remember them first hand. xoxo ~Lili
