We all love vintage photos...or as we like to call them,
Instant Ancestors.
I can't keep track of how many old, sepia-toned photos I have of other peoples mothers, fathers, grandmothers, great uncle Bob's....I'll bet y'all have a lot too, right? They're irresistible.
So, in the spirit of sharing, here is a brand new "instant ancestor" for you to add to your stash....
it's my very own Mom!
Wasn't she just the most adorable little thing ever?
So, if you're so inclined to decoupage her, or put her in a fairy jar or sprinkle her with glitter, go ahead.
I don't mind, and I give you permission.

How adorable is she! Love that photo. Any future girls in the family should have to do a photo in the same pose and similar outfit. Of course, it has to be done in sepia tones, too!

She is! Now we know where you get it! Funny note...after my Mother died, we found a box of photos of actual ancestors. Problem is, my Dad couldn't remember who most of them are, so..it's kind of like the terrific ones you find while on the hunt.
