Puppy Love

Doggie baths!
What better activity for a lazy Summer day?

Especially if you're the one wielding the camera
and not doing any of the actual dirty work?  ; - )

Ladies first!

~Belle~

Husky Fact Number One: Most Siberian Huskies don't like water.

Our two are no exception.

Still, when a little lands on your tongue, it ain't all  bad!

"Don't forget the rear bumper, dad!"

And always be prepared for a photo-op for mom...

One down, one to go.

Havoks's turn!

Typical boy, he isn't sure a bath is such a good idea...

Still...

who knew?

that doggie shampoo

caused such intense bonding?

Enjoy your families, honor our heroes.

Happy Memorial Day!

Good morning Anne...We have left the hill country and now are just outside Fort Worth area.

Those pics of yours remind me of when we give out little Sophie a bath. She is pretty docile tho.

Have a great and restful weekend.

Very familiar to me.
Except my husband does this in the shower. With a spray nozzle attached. I am on duty for the blow drying. Both Edward and Apple, though reluctant at first, really seem to enjoy it!

Happy weekend!
Happy clean dogs!

The eyes on those dogs just define intense beauty. They are mesmerizing. I find myself just staring at them. That last picture, priceless. Surely you will frame that one. It's a keeper.

Hi Anne! Sneaking in a few blogs between CHORES ~ none as sweet as your doggy baths ~ and am glad I popped over. Our dog isn't a bath lover, either, but she's only seven pounds and can't put up much resistance! Your pups are just gorgeous ~ can tell that they are MUCH loved!!! I agree with gina3's comment....you should hang that last shot. I can see it blown up in size, stretched on a canvas ~ beautiful! Happy day!

I am still laughing. Your poor husband. I bet you were secretly laughing. If you can believe it my bichon is a holy tear when I try to bath him. He took off through the house soap suds and all, right then a friend dropped by. Boy was she sorry. It took the two of us to catch him. We were soaked the house was a mess and Teddy thought this was all great fun. He now goes to the groomer until I get stupid enough to try again. LOL Have a fun and save holiday. It looks like your off to a great start!

I love people stories and crafting ideas/pics,,but truly I am such an animal lover it's ridiculous at times!

Cute "Puppies" and wonderful photos!

It's so blasted cold and wet here in Washington State that I took a good soak this morning and I swear, my Black Lab was going to jump in the tub with me! Ackkk!

I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend! I'm counting the days till Farm Chicks next weekend on the OTHER side of the mountains where it is usually warm and sunny! And of course, looking forward to a great time finding some goodies and "junk!"

Hugs and Love,,,,and glad to see your " blog constipation" has subsided!

Beautiful canine companions! I thought Huskies liked water. There is a pair near where I work and they love to jump in.
Thank goodness our dogs fit in the bathtub; it's harder to escape.

Ha! I think hating a bath is universal for all dogs, no? Our mutt certainly doesn't like baths... Now that I think of it, our six-year-old is not too excited about them either! ;)

Hope you are having a wonderful holiday weekend, dear!

So sweet that last photo....got some extra time to bath my dog, he is a rascal and most times hates it, so lately I just leave him like a stinky boy he is...but it is surely umpleasant in the house, although my human boy doesn't seem to mind! :)
