Magnolia Pearl Ranch For Sale

My sweet friends, Robin Brown and John Gray of
are selling their incredible ranch
in Bandera, Texas
and I am so thrilled to
bring this exceptional
property to a wider audience.

All photos
© Anne Lorys Photography
unless indicated

I was fortunate enough to be able
to photograph this wonderland last month,
and I am beyond thrilled
to help Robin and John
present this treasure to the world.

"On earth as it is in Heaven"
And indeed it is.
Nestled in the beautiful Bandera countryside,
in the heart of the Texas Hill Country,
is a little slice of Heaven on earth.
Surrounded by majestic ranches,
the former homestead of
renowned clothing designer Robin "Magnolia Pearl" Brown and John Gray
is being offered for sale,
and utopian paradise hardly begins
to describe the treasures
to be found on this
exceptional property.

The delicate flowers and even the
faux cracks in the wall
are all hand painted.
Gorgeous!

On 38 acres, this expansive estate
features 3 complete homes
with central heat and air,
18 external structures,
3 delightful outdoor shower / baths
supplied by on demand hot water heaters,
and imaginatively adorned structures
such as a whimsical chicken coop
complete with chandelier
and birdhouses galore.

A cleaner and more spic-and-span
home you will never find.
Aged to perfection via artistry...
no dirt, mold, water damage.

The old world patina is a deliberate
and stunning embellishment throughout.

Everything you see,
and a thousand lovely things you
don't see all convey.

Window treatments, artistic touches,
and grace notes of
beauty throughout.
This is truly a place
touched by magic.

The kitchen walls above?
That's carpet fabric!
Simply stunning.

Upon entering the living spaces,
you will be charmed to discover
that not only do all the
fully functioning appliances convey,
but that artistic adornments
are found around each and every corner.
Between the 3 houses,
enchantments such as...

antique cast iron beds,
25 chandeliers collected
from around the world,
3 clawfoot tubs,
large stone fireplaces,
and spacious porches,
are only the beginning.
The interior walls were a captivating canvas
for hand-painted artistic designs,
true works of art in and of themselves.

More about the beauty above just a
little further down.

The interior ceilings are covered
in antique tins rescued and restored
from an abandoned movie theater
in New York City.
The bath in the main house
boasts a magnificent sink
designed by Robin herself,
featuring an abundance of
antique French majolica roses
acquired from the
Marbuger Farm Antique Show.

Vintage screen porch doors galore.

In keeping with this theme,
the entry gate leading up
to the main house is framed
by a spellbinding stone archway
also designed by Robin.

This too is embellished
by the same lovely majolica roses
as well as an exquisite
antique cloisonne vase
which belonged to Robin's grandmother.

Iron gate leading to
one of three outdoor spas.

The fully furnished guest house.

The old sewing house,
where so many gorgeous Magnolia Pearl
creations were born!

Notice the darling pink fridge
in the upper left corner?

Again, all 3 of the
clawfoot tubs convey.

This labor of love,
12 years in the making,
was where Robin's
internationally acclaimed
clothing line was birthed.

It has been featured in countless
magazine publications as well as
also being the subject of a book
published by Country Living.

Offered at $695,000, this property
is centrally located one hour
from San Antonio, Texas
and 7 miles from Bandera.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime
chance for you to be able to
grab a little slice of Heaven
for yourself.

I just posted to my Pinterest page. Thanks so much for sharing these images...simply beautiful I would live there in a heartbeat! Something about this story makes me sad, I am not sure why. It isn't because I want it and can't have it but I think it is because Magnolia Pearl has created such a wonderful unique home and she wont be there anymore. Not sure if that really even makes sens but it is just how I feel. I love the cloths that are being given away thanks for the opportunity to win them.

OMGoodness what a fabulous post. I bought Robin's book and literally studied each page so to see the house bare bones was such a treat. I have been so inspired by everything she does. In fact my last post was just about how I was inspired by some wedding photos recently and my heart would do a big happy dance if I would win an outfit for my bride model to wear for my small business Itty Bitty Pretty Weddings. I'll be FB, Pinning and blogging about this for sure. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I have never seen such care given to create ambiance both in the interior of the homes and on the outside. It's like stepping into a different world. And the clothing is fantastical. I'm having a hard time tearing myself away to get back to my reality.

Natural Home Maker said...

I had dreams of decorating my house in a free spirit look just like this house was done in, but it was just too much for my family to bear, so I have one wall that I did sponge painting on and a few pieces that I did the toile painting and splashed around the house.

I also love to mosaic so I have a bar table that is soon to become my next piece of mixed media art in my home.

I love the outfits. I find I like comfortable more these days than I do snug fitting outfits. Tight jeans are okay for some days but fabrics that really breath are what I love to wear!

Hi Anne,

You created beauty for them in as much as your photos will amaze all you view your work, your amazing work behind that camera. Has there been any strong bites for them, and would it not be crazy fun to then go back after the sale of the home to feature the new home dwellers and how they added there touch to it.

Anne you are not only a great photographer but soulful when taking your shot at what you want us to see.

The outfits are soooo fun, I have followed Magnolia Pearl long before blogging was all the craze, and when they would be featured in a magazine there pages were the ones I always tore out to keep close by for inspiration.

I would love anything they offered, even that little tote would be enough to trill me.

Have a beautiful spring week, keep inspiring your beauty.

I've followed Magnolia Pearl for over 10 years now. My late husband was also named John. He and I joked that they were living our lives and we wanted to relocate and create a life as they. I would move in a heartbeat. Just amazing!

All the best to everybody in this, and also I hope that Robin and John will get their lush farm in the right next hands.

I was lucky enough to meet Robin and John at Marburger April 2012, one of the landmark opportunities of my life to travel to Texas and soak up all the wonderful hospitality and love extended by the whole Magnolia Pearl team. It was always a fantasy of mine that I would "win" a green card through the lottery and I would be able to buy that beautiful ranch. Sometimes dreams do come true <3 (MP crazy from New Zealand)

Enjoyed seeing your pics which cover even more than her book, which I own. She's just so creative. I'd be pleased to just have a label. And her tapestry bags were a fav.
