The Sandman Awaits....

Yes, I swore that Fiona & Twig, both the blog and the shop,
would never ever feature any cutesy cat tchotchkes
or cat-themed anything (even though my biz/blog is named after two cats).
I have a dangerously low threshold for cutesy.

But I've been sitting on these photos for nigh on a month now,
determined that someway, somehow, I was going to post pics
of my four-legged daughter Winnie in her little antique kitty bed.
And of course, in so doing, not jeopardizing my blog cred
as a cynical, sardonic voice railing against the cutesy.

Blame it on the paint fumes, or all the recent late nights cleaning and pricing
and plotting and planning my booth opening next weekend....
when fatigue sets in, my brain shuts down.
Less synapses firing = less verbosity. So win-win!
You don't have to muddle through another rambling excursion into my pysche,
PLUS you get to ooooh and awwww over precocious kitty pics.

Off to bed now. Say goodnight, Winnie.

How could you deny that face??? Winnie looks so much like my baby Miss Jenkins! Besides, Anne we just love you SO much more knowing that you have a soft spot for kitties and all their "purrfect" little photo ops. (sorry, don't gag on that one)

Anne, I was on your blog while you were on mine.. Thankyou so much for the prayer. I'm believing that there's a purpose in all this. I'm hoping to get the word out to women so they will be armed with information.
Love you, have fun this weekend getting ready for your big debut! Be sure and take plenty of pics for us to oogle over.

ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE. What a lucky kitty to have its own antique bed.
Happy day.

Eh....about the teapot lights...thanks so much for your comments. My email is --- I usually sell them for between $90 and $100---I always find it sooo hard to price things. Let me know if you are still interested.
Happy day.

Oh Anne,
I thought I was looking at my Sugars. He was a stray and now he is the best (even though he does not have his own kitty bed). Now where in Warrenton are you? I will be coming on Tues and Wed. Love to meet you in person!
Smiles, alice

Hi Alice,
I'm only going to be in Warrenton shopping this year, no shows for me just yet. Maybe next year? But I actually might be heading back on Tuesday or Wednesday, I'll be sure to let you know. I'd love to meet you, too!
