I love the simplicity of this photo! I had to chuckle though to think that when I was a child...(way back when), "You Rock" could have been taken as an insult. So funny how the times have changed and now this is the ultimate COMPLIMENT!

Just thought I'd answer Connie's question here...
nope, I don't have a dedicated area to take these shots. I set this one up on a big piece of beadboard on the floor by a living room window.
I used my fave lens, the 50mm 1.4.
It's the absolute best for getting a tack sharp, light filled shot.
